How often do I need to replace the filter?

Filter replacement depends on usage and air quality conditions but typically lasts 12 months with average use. The machine monitors filter condition and sends notifications through the app when replacement is needed. The LCD display also shows remaining filter life. Heavy use in polluted environments may require more frequent changes, whilst occasional use in clean air may extend filter life beyond 12 months.

Can this purifier handle cigarette smoke and cooking odours?

Yes, the activated carbon filter component specifically targets gases and odours including cigarette smoke, cooking smells and household chemicals. The HEPA filter captures smoke particles whilst the carbon layer absorbs gaseous pollutants. However, for heavy smoking environments, you may need more frequent filter replacements as the carbon becomes saturated with absorbed gases and odours.

What room size is this suitable for?

The TP07 is designed for rooms up to 81m³ (approximately 27m² with standard ceiling height). The 350° oscillation and 290 litres per second airflow ensure effective coverage of this space. For larger open-plan areas, you might need multiple units or consider positioning the purifier centrally. Smaller rooms will experience faster air changes and more intensive purification.

How loud is this purifier during operation?

Maximum noise level is 61dB, comparable to normal conversation volume. Night mode reduces this significantly by using lower fan speeds and dimming the display. The ten speed settings allow you to balance purification power with noise levels. Lower speeds operate very quietly whilst higher speeds increase both airflow and noise. Most users find speeds 1-4 suitable for bedroom use.

Does this actually cool a room like an air conditioner?

No, this is not an air conditioner and doesn't reduce room temperature. It provides personal cooling through airflow, similar to a traditional fan but with purified air. The cooling effect comes from air movement across your skin, not temperature reduction. For actual room cooling, you'd need air conditioning. The diffused mode allows purification without the cooling airflow when desired.

Can I use this purifier without the app?

Absolutely. The included remote control provides access to all essential functions including power, speed settings, oscillation, timer and mode selection. The remote stores magnetically on the machine. Basic operation doesn't require the app, though you'll miss features like air quality history, scheduling, filter life monitoring and remote control when away from home.

What maintenance does this purifier require?

Maintenance is minimal. The main requirement is filter replacement when indicated by the app or display. The exterior can be wiped with a damp cloth. No internal cleaning is required due to the sealed design. The remote should be kept clean and the air intake shouldn't be blocked. Unlike some purifiers, there are no washable pre-filters or UV bulbs requiring attention.
